All you can eat shrimp

My boyfriend and I love red lobster. Recently we went and I got all you can eat shrimp... I opted for the grilled shrimp because its a filling food. I've always been curious if I could do filling foods but my answer is no!!! I ate 37 shrimp! How do my filling foods we members do it?

The coveted 25 lb award

This week I received my over slightly due 25 lb award! ( less than 10lbs away from getting my 50lb award) It's a silver tone washer w/ 25lbs on it... It's amazing how something so simple as a washer and a clapping hand can encourage you and keep you going...

I'm committed to making this work this time! This week we asked ourselves three questions and reflect on our goals. Be a healthier me& a thinner me

As of right now I can fit my size 22 plants just can't zip them yet! Not only that but I've succumbed to owning skinny jeans! My feet and legs are thinner! There is room in my plus calf boots its an amazing feeling. My fingers have lost a bit to and have wrinkles! Lol

Football season snacking

Ok folks... I'm sitting on my sofa watching the game... What do I reach for? The BBQ Pringles or the Rice works an all natural brown rice crisp... My first reaction was omg what vegan hippie came in and brought this? But it's kind of growing on me. I don't have the overly salty greasy feeling regular chips have and that's a plus!

I just can't seem to weigh out what's the better option when u get 6 more Pringles than rice crisps! For the same total of 4 ww points plus... They have the same amt of fiber,Pringles has less carbs...

What one would u choose? I'm going to continue my research! One for me... One for me!

I'm my own trainer...

Today I wanted nothing more than to put my house pants on ( pants no one else should see cause I've had them since 2000 and the fuzzy texture has worn) and a tshirt with a quip saying that I've adopted from my boyfriends collection. But as I plugged in my active link and found out I was at 50% I grunted and put my shorts on... Sneakers... Grabbed my water and walked... I was going to walk till I reached 100% but this is day one... There's a new day tomorrow!

Active link assessment week

I drank the Kool-aid! Being a nut for research and having a few general OCD tendencies I am anxiously awaiting the results of my 8 day active link baseline assessment week.

I'm nervous and excited! I hope my baseline is not to high! Ww advises no more than 6 activity points a day but my current pedometer brings in 12 points a day. So apparently I'm an active person!?!

My father told me once that our family stock was made to push/ pull a plow! So I've always thought I need to push it further than most... Well it will be interesting to see the results!

There are more amazing things than smaller pants!

I recently found myself ecstatic that a chain sporting good store had there 1/4 ton chair on 30% off! And a 20% off coupon in the paper meaning I'd get two chairs for the price of one!

I had purchased 2 a few years priority the urging of my mother after I destroyed a regular camp chair with a 250lb limit while @ a craft show. Again a warning sign I had gained too much weight!

When my mother had suggested the 1/4 ton chairs I was insulted! But the chairs are sturdier, wider and higher all a round more comfortable than the $6 drug store ones I'd used in the past. Now that I've lost weight I'm noticing that it's even more comfortable and I'm a firm believer everyone should own one!

Am I booty calling my deli?

I realized tonight that I've apparently broken up with my local convenience store deli... 4 years ago every night between midnight and 6 am I would find myself driving to get a BLT or a meatball shortie w/ added pepperoni a bag of chips or Doritos a large 32 oz soda or wawa iced tea lemonade... On a really wild night I'd add 4 servings of Ben & Jerry's

What was I thinking?

It took me walking in and realizing they remodeled and the staff was all new faces! How long has it been? I didn't even realize I had made the behavior change till tonight but not only what am I saving from my waist line by not eating an extra 72 points every night but @ $12-$15 a night what am I saving my wallet?

So I would have to give myself and anyone else who has made a change like this a bravo for this behavior change!
